Thought I'd share some pics of my new wheels.

Here are the wheel specs:

ALT MASQ
18x7.5
+42 offset
5x114.3

The rubber is:

General Exclaim UHP
225/40/18

These wheels are from heronew's recent group buy. I'm a bit taken aback by the +42 offset. Part of me is admiring the new, more aggressive stance of the car, and part of me is secretly wishing that I'd picked a higher offset (+48 or higher). The fenders are rolled and the car's getting lowered in Jan 07 as soon as the weather eases up a bit.

PS! The center caps are missing for a simple reason: the ones that come with this wheel look just awful. I'd rather have no caps than put those on. I'll figure something out... may be able to get some other caps to fit.

Enjoy:

Nice. My wheels are the same size and offset, and I think you need to roll further down than 10 o'clock. Mine rubbed bad down towards 8 o'clock at first.

Problem solved. Rolled the fenders a bit further down and no more rubbing.

Thanks for the help.

The center caps were left off on purpose... its a long story, but in short heronew's looking into the issue.

Wow, you've got good eyes. Didn't think anyone would notice them.

Thanks for the compliment :)
