Hi,

I will buy a speed 6 next week.
I need your help to setup my mod list

Engine mount:
I dont plan to abuse of the car( no track, drag ), I just dont want to break anything when i use the power of the car. I want to minimise vibration too.
This product seems nice http://www.streetunit.com/SURE_Torq_...sure0505-1.htm

For the diff mount, do you know if the turbinetech mount create more vibration than the sure one.

Do I need to replace other mounts?

Engine:
Cobb SRI + Forge BPV v2 et un Cobb AP.

Suspension:
I would like to lower the car but not to much because I live in canada and there is a LOT of snow . What coil springs do you recommend?

Monitoring: The Edge Insight CTS Scan Tool and Dashhawk look good but is it precise enough for boost and others?
Thanks

welcome sir. i've had my speed 6 for about 3 weeks and its been great. do get the mounts and also read up on the noob thread. consensus is that the rear diff mount is the one that provides the most support.

Shouldn't u be on the rpm street spring list?? And the sure rmm makes driving so much better. A must but I'm sure all the rmm are better than stock.

you should get a short shifter to help reduce the throw!!!

i made some custom ones if your interested.

^I don't own his ss, but I will definitely vouch for him, even though he is a punk ass ;). The stock shifter is junk imo, and a good ss is needed to shorten the throw and tighten things up. Change your tranny fluid/gear oil to Amsoil or Redline fluids as well. See "fluid notes" for specs.

Agreed. As for the diff mount... you want the rear diff REAR mount. Not the TT rear diff FRONT mount, which is what they make. Either the CPE or the SU rear diff REAR mount is what you want. And I can't speak for the Sure mount you linked (link is dead btw), but I assume it's the bone mount. The rear diff mount is a necessary evil that will add a few vibs at idle, most notably when at idle with the A/C on. The bone mount doesn't add much in terms of vibs.
