Akebono would probably be overkill for your car (assuming you have a 2.5L). Powerstop Z23 pads have been well liked around this forum, although you need to follow the bedding procedure. As for rotors, I'm having decent luck with Reybestos Element3 coated rotors on my Milan snow beater in Michigan where they sling salt all winter (not sure if your part of Canada does that), but the PowerStop Geomet coated rotors I had put on my work's truck seem to be faring a bit better.
TLDR: PowerStop Geomet rotors paired with PowerStop Z23 pads might be best for you. Talon here on the board can point out other threads or drop the particulars of the bedding in procedure so you get them setup right.
