I was wondering,

When does anyone give the solution for that annoying warning message that
keeps ypu from changing your route during driving.

The instruction gives a solution, but that doesn't work

BEEP

It's hard enough to get around in all those other countries they figured us Americans wouldn't need a navigation system... I wish they would have thought otherwise :)

I'm sorry that you in the states don't have het NAV, but the best option
about such a system is blocked by people who think that it better for safety.

I'm talking about the option to find the nearest McDonalds during driving :) :) :)

So please, has anyone some ideas....

In the netherlands in snows sometimes too.

What solution? Other than stop the car...

I don't think it's possible. I've been trying to find workarounds, factory menu's etc. Also for the Panasonic DV2300 which seems to be the same device. Nothing found.. :(
