As every modded car has come to be, I bought this 2007 mazda 6 with the 2.3 to be my daily driver. One thing lead to another but the car remains my daily. I still have big plans for the car but here is what is done so far!

Fusion 2.5 swap
AEM cold air intake
Corksport strut brace
Custom catback exhaust
Raceland Coilovers
Ksport big brake kit
Stainless steel brake lines
Rx8 steering wheel
MS6 front and rear bumpers
Roof rack :p
Avid AV30 18x8.5
Whiteline 24mm swaybar
Energy swaybar bushings
Netami racing seats
Tanaka 4 point camlocks
Triple gauge cluster
Speed6 Cluster

I have tons of parts laying around, waiting to go onto the car but just not enough time with being a full time student and still working 25 hours a week. This has truly been a great, fun, and reliable car to me and its always nice to cruise around in something you put your hard work into!

Everything swaps over super easy! The rx8 wheel shares the same splines as the mazda 6 wheel but it wont fit a first gen mazda 3. The airbag has the same connections as the stock 6 does so its a direct plug and play! Super cool and easy mod not alot of people know about.

Are those paddle shifters on the wheel left and right?
Yup the paddle shifters are standard on the automatic rx8. Its super easy to wire them into the M mode on a mazda 6 as well so its a super fun way to change your driving experience on a budget.

Super cool update to a 1st gen 6 with ATX. How do you get the signal to the trans?

All you need to do is splice each upshift and downshift wire together on the wheel then run them into the connector behind the wheel in any free or unneeded pin. Then follow them down to the base of the shifter and into the M mode! There is a retrofit guide somewhere on the forum that I can refer you to if interested
