Recently just finished "murdering" out my 6, also wanted to show off the front emblem delete I did on the front grille. Basically took a dremel to the whole middle bar, and bondo/painted the gaps that had disappeared, as well as the black grille insert behind it, and then painted some gutter mesh black and trimmed it to fit. I have some pictures of the process but will out together a how-to whenever I find time to. Sorry for the quality, shot on my phone on the way home today and didnt have the digi with me.

I like it and it has a sportier look now. Must have required a lot of time and patience to do that. Only thing is now the grille looks pretty big. If you get a chance can you do some day shots and something up close. Again, great job.

I have only had them on for about a week, but so far so good. Road noise is more audible and the ride is a bit stiffer, but that is probably to be expected going from 16" steel hubs to 20"

thats pretty cool how did you do that to the front grill did you just cut the middle of the grill to make it like that
Yeah that is exactly what I did, along with bondoing the gap and repainting everything to match and adding mesh behind the grile

Are you going to do anything about the Mazda symbol(s) on the back?
absolutely... Planning on atleast blacking them out and doing the evil m mod, but eventually I will sit down and fill the holes behind the mazda emblem, paint, and finish it to do a full delete

Yeah I hang out around tempe--ASU student, but everyonce in a while I make my way down to chandler.

Now you need a drop!
Wish I could but the roads in Phoenix are just awful, maybe if they ever get their act together and finish up some construction projects I'll think about it!

Some up close pictures of the grille. I got a little overspray on the lower plastic vent, but I just haven't fixed it yet... I'll take care of it when I do the badges

that mark on the lip is just dirt-- car needs a bath in a bad way!

I've had mine dropped for while and I drive all over phoenix hadn't really had a problem so far. I've never bottomed out and I've only rubbed my front lip a couple time on steep curbs..

btw I think I need to have you do that to mine as well

It definatly needs a drop. Doesnt matter what size you have on there, your still going to have wheel gap. 2nd best 2nd gen ive seen to date.. P-Dro's ( i think is his name) still has the sickest.

uhh....unless you're going for the hellaflush look or riding on bags...you will always have a wheelgap. Dropping it any more with wheels that big on there will make the ride terrible and/or have rubbing against the fenders/wheel well. And will just be a painful suspension with problems.
