I replaced the factory spark plugs at 75K with the Motorcraft Finewire platinum spark plugs. At 109K they were bust....all burned down.

Is that how much they are supposed to last?

Ewwww. IDK how long the Finewire ones are supposed to last. That's gross tho, what were they gapped to?

To me it looks like they just need to have the carbon cleaned off them. Have you checked to see what's under all the soot on the center electrode? Is it actually worn away or just covered in crud?

IDK. They were replaced by Mazda Dealer at 75K while replacing the PCV on the engine under warranty.
