What is the most probable cause for this and how can I fix it

I don't know how many miles are on your vehicle (it is a 2004), but if it's high (over 70,000 miles) change all your plugs.
You may want to get #6 coil checked out and/or replaced.

coil or plugs

swap coil 6 to cyclindar 5. if missfire is on 5 it is the coil, if it is still on 6 it is your plugs.

probably wise to replace all the plugs anyway as it is cheap and easy.

my wife and i are having the same problem just min cylinder #4 and it seems to jerk, stutter at 2000 to 3000 rpm, and even at idol. it is so bad that i hat driving the car
