Hello,

Happy New Year to everyone! Although it is cold outside right now, the weather will soon start to warm up and it will once again be time to get our cars out for some spring and summer fun! If you are a Mazda owner, this season is also Midwest Mazdafest season! This year, Mazdafest will be held on Saturday, May 1st. For those of you who attended Mazdafest last year, you know how great of an event it was.

This year, Mazdafest 2010 promises to be bigger and better! Not only is Mazdafest a car show, but we also have door prizes, live music from Truett and the Traitors ( http://www.myspace.com/truett ), great food and games for people of all ages. The event is once again being held at the Ray Skillman Classic Car Museum, which is an amazing venue if you have never been there.

Like last year, we will be accepting donations for the Humane Society of Indianapolis. Please check their wish list ( http://www.indyhumane.org/donations/wishlist.php ) for items which they are in great demand. A donation of an item from that wish list will give you a minimum of 5 raffle tickets per item extra in addition to the 10 you receive just with your preregistration!

Preregistration is now open! Preregistration online includes:
* Car Show Entry
* Goody Bag
* Souvenir Photo
* 10 Door Prize Tickets
* T-shirt to first 50 Registrations

Preregistration and event information can be found on the club website. ( http://www.indyrx8club.com/mazdafest.htm ) If you do not make the preregistration deadline, you may still register online until April 25th or at the gate on the day of the event for $25. If you have any questions, please check out the Midwest Mazdafest 2010 subforum ( http://www.indyrx8club.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=65 )

Hope to see everyone there!

Thanks,
Matt Bentley (mbentley)

On last year's thread, I noticed someone had asked about the organizers of RR...I'm just curious to know what that was about?

Hope you 6'ers are doing well...

Agreed. Turnout was decent, a lot of people decided not to go because it "looked like rain" but it held off all day.
