I know there are a few of the SoCal folks who are a bit newer, so worth posting this over here as it's always a blast to go to.

Mazfest is back for 2014, and for the first time at Streets of Willow, at Willow Springs race track in Lancaster/Rosamond.

MAZFEST 2014 IS SATURDAY, AUGUST 16th
California’s Premiere Mazda Only Event Returns. The Mazda Family reunion is back for 2014 with a HPDE track day hosted by Extreme Speed and Mazda Owners Club of California. Registration for this year’s track event is now open for Beginner to Advance levels! HPDE Track time, Mazda Only Car Show, Vendors, Raffles, Games, and Door Prizes. What other event has so much Mazda Love packed into one place!?
Our exclusive ONLY Mazda event brings Mazda owners and enthusiasts together to drive, share, and enjoy the cars we love. MazFest 2014 will be held at Willow Springs International Raceway – Streets of Willow. At about only a 1 hour drive from Los Angeles, this event is definitely worth the trip.


More info at Mazfest.com. great chance to get out on the track for some experience in a controlled environment, and SOW is one of the best tracks out here for beginners that still has the technical stuff that keeps the experienced folks entertained as well.

I will be there again this year.. its always fun. Hopefully this time im able to track my car.

As of now, I'm planning to be there in one of the vendor's booths.

Hopefully I'm on track all day for ride alongs again.....I just wanna drive!! It will have been over 3 years since I've been on track and K1 just isn't cutting it anymore.

Though I'm trying to envision how the lot will be setup, there aren't many better tracks than SOW for events like this.

I just ordered my tires, new Sabelt driver seat in, still have to mount the Sparco in passenger side and try to get another harness in the next couple weeks still. I'll be driving all day doing ridealongs, so should be a blast.

I've been waiting a long time for this, can't wait! I'll be heading up on Friday if anyone wants to split a hotel or anything out in the good 'ol Lancaster area.
