Sounds like the infamous power loss. Do a search on it you'll find MANY in depth topics about it. Has your car been reflashed? Are you running 93 Octane fuel?
My thoughts exactly. If you have lower then 93 octane gas, the turbo doesn't kick in (or it might but it doesn't do any good not exactly sure) and you lose a crapload of power.

+1, if you're running like 91 octane, it could cut boost/timing to prevent detonation....also if you haven't reflashed your car, that could also be it.

my 2 cents
ive never put below 93 in my car.. ive got it reflashed.. but only cause the automatic window thing wasnt working.. so i dont know if they reflased it with the new one.. but its the first time it has happened and i got 2300 miles on it.. i thought the powerloss was a somewhat frequent thing and only at high rpms .. if i go to the dealer will they check what reflash it has??
FWIW, there hasn't been any evidence that powerloss occurs any more or any less between those using 91 and 93+ octane. 91 should, at worst, give you a little less horsepower overall. Power loss can happen frequently to those who have only run 93/94, and never to those run only 91, and everything in between. Once again, power loss, as we know it, has nothing to do with the fuel's octane at 91 and above. As stated above this has been discussed in great detail many times before. Please do not blurt out things that are not true because you haven't properly researched the subject. This is bad info, especially for those shopping this car who can only get as good as 91 octane.
making a turn, 2nd gear? If TCS (DSC) was on, it might be the culprit

I would almost go for that if the revs weren't so low (2700). Probably it would depend on how much grip the road had at that particular turn; freshy paved blacktop may be slippery enough to trigger DCS at 2700 in 2nd while turning.

Had he said 4k in 2nd on a turn I'd be on board with the DCS theory. Not sure about 2700 though.
truth be told the powerband (sweet spot) on the speed6's are between 3 and 6 rpms. At 3g rpm the turbo isfully spooling. Thats how Ive experienced it and read in several different magazines.
the traction conrtol wasnt on.. i didnt gun it around the turn.. i waited to make the turn.. and after there was no power in 2nd i shifted to 3rd.. but the same thing happened.. no power.. i guess ill just go and see if i got it reflashed with the new one.. it hasnt happened since then.. bc intake bov are comin soon.. waiting for cobb maybe.. thinkin about the warrenty tho.. thanks for the helpp tho
