I was behind a really nice black Mazda 6 speed. I used to have a 2004 Mazda 6 myself a year ago, but I know own a 2005 BMW M3. They guy in the Mazda tried to run me, but I kept having to hit my breaks to prevent my M3 from hitting th back of the 6speed and there were too many cars on the highway so I couldn't blow past him.

Pretty nice looking car. Too bad they didn't give it more HP.

It only has 273hp. Not tooo bad considering its 1/2 the price of your M3.. BTW do you have the 6sp or the SMG? My friend is about to drop the hat on a 2005 M3 w/ the competition package....

He's gotta gett he 6 speed. I tried the SMG and wasn't too impressed. The only place i think having an SMG would be better than the 6 speed manula is on a tight road course where there is lots of shifting. That way you you never take you hands off the steering wheel.

Yea, it is the 6sp. Good deal he is supposudly getting too. 112miles on the car w/ competiton package around $52000 or so he says.

Intresting you said that about the SMG. My friends uncle has one and he said its amazingly fast. I wonder whats better BMW SMG or audi's DSG..

Well they are actually using the same transmission, but the SMG had a hydraulic clutch which they claim can be easier to drive in certain situations. I guess i prefer the 6 speed manual because you it is more fun to drive.

Now the next generation SMG III which is supposed to come out in 2008 will supposedly be faster shifting than a manual (more like a formula one car) so it will be interesting to see how many people go to the SMG.

My Mazda 6 was an auto stick and I liked it for driving in traffic, but it didn't shift consistantly and I prefered to keep it in auto. I'm sure mazda will iron that out eventually.

Pull me over Red huh...lol I really think Mazda has outdone themselves with the Mazdaspeed 6. Very nice looking, decent power and phenominal handling. I'm sure it can only get better in future models... Hopefully I will be moving towards a Porsche or the next generation M3 on my next car.

Horseppowerfreaks.com are developing a turbo kit for the E46 M3, but it won't be available till next spring. They are keepign quiet about the HP gains, but they should be pretty much the same results they are getting on the 93 to 98 Toyota Supra's. Crazy HP if this is true.

Its the new three series that are getting twin turbo's, I finally searched it. lol
