They had two one-millionth vehicles?

(1963, 1978)

Im assuming that in 1978, they mean one millionth rotary-powered car is sold...

That's what it says. "... in that same year, the groundbreaking Rotary engine powers its [as opposed to "the"] one-millionth Mazda".

Thats a nice little time-line. I wonder if the Mazda6 is their best selling car of all time?

That was an interesting read-through/visual. Upon clicking that link a few days ago when I spotted this thread, I decided to kill some time and give the Mazda Museum a shot. I was not disappointed. It was fun looking through their history of cars, photos, and descriptions of each one. It was surprising finding out that Mazda made such cars as the Roadpacer in the 1970s which looked similar to the American tanks out at the time. I recommend that site to anyone looking for some time to kill.
