I just got a 2004 Mazda 6s. While I was overlooking it I noticed that the power steering pump high pressure return was busted along with the cross brace that holds it along the bottom I'm gonna get it welded back up and put in a new return. Here's the thing the car has been ran at least 50 miles on it since, the owner didn't notice as that's how he got it (dropping off the trailer it broke it). He sold it to me because the fuel pump was cutting out and he didn't know what the issue was (he is used to older cars). Anyway I'm trying to figure out if I should just replace the pump while I'm at it or if I can save a bit of cash as money is tight and just replace the line?
