Purchased this back in Feb, from one careful owner. It's just the best/coolest/smoothest car I've ever owned. Love it to pieces.

Any other wagon owners, or NZ Mazda6 owners?

Keen to learn more will be reading through the posts - but specifically want to know about tuning the software.

Congrats on your purchase!

By "tuning the software" do you mean the ECU or the onboard infotainment? If the former, then you'd have to contact someone from OVTune directly - Archer knows more about that.

Same here. I am still at a loss as to why Mazda hasn't offered it in the US. Of course they would have to raise the suspension by about an inch all around, put on plastic body cladding and a plastic bushbar, and perhaps call it the Mazda 6X (or something of the sort). I think it would sell very well and would be worth it. But Mazda seems to be losing their way these days anyway, so I shouldn't be surprised.

Skyactive diesel engines are having a lot of troubles:

• Carbon build up in the intake
• High consumption due to that carbon.
• Injectors washers blowing and clogging with carbon the oil sump restrainer
• Injectors failing.
• Defective sensors in the exhaust
• ...

All that means that you must expend a lot of months learning about all those things rather than enjoying the car.

Valid point and basically what I do now.

Oversized intercooler and Versatune

You'll not want for anything else

And do oil changes every 5000kms, you won't have any of the common issues
