hey

i have an issue with my '05 series 2 mazda 6.
it's a hatchback and the it is leaking from the inside.

the leak is located at the very top of where the hatch rotates from.

it only happens when their is consistent heavy rain.

when i drive off i can see a stream of water droppping down inside the car just above the rear headrests. it seems to be coming from the grey portion that attached to the roof (someone with a mazda6 hatch will know which part i am referring to).

the seals around the hatch all seem to be sealed correctly.

any ideas what the problem may be??

I would remove the trim and see if you can get a better idea of the leak. The peices pop off and i believe the top one is the first to come off so check that out and see if it directs you to a better idea of the leak.

Weather stripping or the window glue itself are most likely culprits. But as Crimson said,remove the trim to get a better idea.

Ihad the same problem aft a body shop took my hatch off. It was leaking from the left hinge left bolt.
