Hey!

I recently bought a 2014 mazda 6, 2.2 diesel, manual gearbox and I've noticed some issues while driving in first and second gear.

If I try to keep the acceleration steady at around 1700-2500, or lightly accelerate, the car starts juddering, like jolting back and forth. It's not severe or anything but you can definitely feel it.
If I accelerate a bit harder, its not happening at all.

Anyone else experienced this before?
Some guys were saying that this might be caused by the fuel filter, but if this were the case, shouldn't it be happening in all gears?

Thanks!

I remember happening this to our old Isuzu. It randomly happens and so it was found out that the fuel filter is clogged. After using it for some time, it happened again.

As coincidence can happen, I had a leaking tank. I had a shop clean the fuel tank and seal the leak.

It was found out that the fuel tank is so dirty that is causing the clogging of fuel filter and of course, for the engine dying at low RPM.
