Just a note....

Key emblems like these are extremely important when selling a car.

If you hold on to them long enough, they can become worth quite a bit of money due to their rarity in excellent condition over time. (Aka if you took one off and kept it in a sealed plastic bag).

For example...A front nose emblem on a 1974 Grand Am Pontiac (in mint condition in the box) goes for 175-250 USD.

If you have a "flying M" on your rear, you may want to have a specialist take a look at that. Sounds painful.

Well after so many years the emblems stop being made...as the manufacturers switch to new models (Its not going to be called the 6 forever).

The original emblems, although gorgeous at first, start getting pitted and taking damage over time.

Add 10-15 years to them...and they start looking like this...

Depending on what the actual material is...they can be rechromed...which of course costs $$.

But regardless...mint condition emblems are always major $$ after the car's model has been retired.
