damn... i wish it was under 3K. I hope its under 3150lbs. Then it would be lighter then the WRX. Lighter == Faster!

Sampson,
Are you talking about the V-6, or the MazdaSpeed? I don't think the V-6 has much hope of being quicker than the WRX. It would probably come in at the upper end of the weight range, given that it's inherently a heavier engine than the I-4. The MazdaSpeed is also unlikely to be lighter than say 3200-3300 lbs. You are talking about the added weight of the turbocharger, intercooler, and an AWD system. Of course, even at 3300 lbs, it's still lighter than the Nissan 350Z! :D :sarc

I was actually talking about the V6. I wasnt really thinking that it would be quicker then the WRX. We all know it wont. But maybe with some duratec modifications it can be close??? maybe not??

no. Basically i was just saying i want the 6 to be light becuase generally lighter is faster. Any car with 220hp should go super fast if its a light... but if its too heavy the 220 can look deceiving.

3300 lbs is still ok. The grand prix GTP is like 3550 lbs and it goes crazy fast. But the RSX is below 2700lbs. Ya.. im done now.
