Hello guys. Is anyone here in the group who made big 3 upgrades on his Mazda 6, please?
Mh Mazda 2017 skyline 2.0 l petrol.
I made an unfortunate mistake as I'm an idiot a didn't research before I accident happen.
I disconnect the positive and negative terminals on the battery. I was waiting for a few minutes as I know there will be still some power in the capacitator left.
I unscrew the bolt on the alternator to upgrade the wiring to my battery and the alternator sparks. As I didn't know I have to disconnect the service charge (what an idiot I am)!!!! after that after a couple of days when I went for the first drive first able to show I loop charging but after 5 min red battery Singh stop the vehicle in a safe place and start-stop the system flashed orange..even while I drove I loop the bars are not moving..So the worst scenario the capacitator is gone?
we meassure with DMM the voltage when only the engine running 14.21V when i accelerate the accelerator only goes till 4000 rpm when I'm stationary no more than that and the voltage on the battery goes up to 14.5 -14.51V.
So I'm not really sure if i fuc..t up the alternator or capacitator...Do normally the Mazda dealers have them in service this is something I have to order on eBay etc.
What do you think guys it went wrong.
