Hi There

So I bought my Mazda 6 Diesel 2013 about 2 months ago, had a service done on it right away was fine, oil change etc....
Vehicle Inspection required came on about 200km after, a friend did a scan and nothing came up and it disappeared. The other day low oil pressure light came on so I checked the dip stick topped it up to the second dot used the right oil. Did about another 100km on it vehicle system inspection required came back on and low oil pressure light also, it went into limp mode checked the dip stick again was at the X. So I did an oil and filter change about 1000km after the last service. Between 8-9L came out, its only supposed to have 5.1L of oil according to the user manual. All lights are still on. Took it to Mazda they said they wouldn't look at it for under $800AU so I went back to my regular mechanic, they looked over it couldn't find any issue.

Please, any help would be much appreciated, I am a student spent ages saving for this car for it to only stuff up on me..

Mine presented with the red triangle with exclamation mark and a system malfunction text , looking to get off road when engine light came on and engine cut out . It was a 2015 2.2 Skyactive sport Nav and was under 30 day period , so had it checked at my local garage Po524 Po55F , low oil pressure and pressure out of range . Returned to dealer who found one injector leak , replaced washers etc cleaned and changed oil/filter (which I did when I bought it ) . Just driven it back and was fine , fingers xd .

I've had exactly same recently, and then engine management light and then low oil pressure. Mine was caused by blocked filter in oil feeder pipe from sump. I would strongly recommend anybody new to Skyactive 2.2 diesels to get this filter cleaned and flushed. Mine feels good and strong now, just over £200 including new oil and oil filter as well. Good luck.

Hello, I have been having the same issues with my Mazda 6 skyactiv 2014. Did you manage to find out what was wrong with it and how to sort it?
I had the same problem. Ots to do with the DPF filter. When it's clogged the car fires more fuel in to combust to tey and clear the blockage but if you are still not driving the car hard enough this excess fuel somehow(dont ask me how) ends up in the oil sump and increases the oil level in the car to dangerous levels. The solution is to have the DPF filter stripped out and mapped out. This immediately solved the issue. Sadly all mazdas suffer from this issue in particular. Great cars apart from that. One you get this sorted its a dream

Hi Everyone.

Same problem.
Fault code po55f

Mazda had a look. Quoted me work at a ridiculous price.

Checked oil strainer (not clogged, but flushed anyway)

Replaced oil solenoid

Had injector pump removed and pressure tested. (which had no leaks)

Had oil and filter changed. All 3x also.

Just had the dpf, diagnosed as blocked.
Had that done plus another oil and filter change.

And I still have the same fault.
After collecting it yesterday.

Full mazda service history.

Injector washers+oil strainer replaced maybe¿

What else can it be?? Am I nearly there? Or just waisting even more money??

Has anyone found a cure please 🙏

Mazda only want to replace engine.
Trade in value as its a well known fault is only £2500.
And it's hard to even find a specialist. To work on it now.

Can't believe After 10 years. Mazda still use this same faulty engine in there new cars today.

A friend bought a 2yr old cx5 last year. And has same fault. ;(

I wonder if mazda has been bought out. So new owners want them to die out??
