IMHO the price is too high but right now the price is too high on any used car, so there you go.
In terms of durability and total cost-of-ownership? The 3rd Gen "6" is hard to beat, especially with a stick which removes one of the high-expense risks from the equation. I have no idea what sort of screwing you get with one of these up north where they salt things, but I've yet to see a vehicle that tolerates that well beyond the 10 year point.
With well over 200k on the clock of mine I still love it and other than routine maintenance have had exactly zero problems.
