Hello guys. I'll start from the beginning. I bought 2007 Mazda 6 GG with RF7J engine, 143ps. Car had problems when I bought it and it was in limp mode. Turns out, 1 injector was faulty, I fixed it and got rid of limp mode. Then I noticed that turbo was not working as it should have been, the issue was vacuum hose, which was broken and after fixing it, car was like new, it was running fast and smooth, no problems at all. It had DPF light on while in limp mode but after fixing all the things, it got erased and never saw it again. now, after about 1-2 months I lost power again, I don't get any CEL, checked turbo for leaks and it is fine, the mechanic said the turbo itself is not damaged and works fine, however I get low boost, car accelerates normally up until 3K rpm and then it feels like something is holding it off. The gas pedal seems unresponsive too, because it does not matter if I floor it or push gently, almost same result of acceleration. I got P0402 (EGR excessive flow) code once, I was cruising on highway in 6th speed and TCS + CEL came on dashboard, checked it on OBD reader, cleared and never seen it again. My only guess is that DPF is clogged, but I don't get DPF warning light. Sometimes I get double digits on current consumption, just in case it helps to sort out this issue. Any help would be very appreciated. Sorry for the long post and thanks.

Hi,

Take a look at the MAF sensor, compare actual and requested boost pressure ( absolute manifold pressure ) they should follow each other, take a look at dpf differential pressure sensor ( to see if DPF is blocked ), make a manual regen etc. Try cleaning EGR valve and reset it then!

I had issues with my mazda too, 121 ps with dpf. SCV valve was faulty, egr was sticky, dpf was full of ash etc. I also was experiencing low power, like the car had only 80 hp max, after an DPF regen car was like new again with lots of pulling power, but i had regens every 150km and fuel consumption of 7 l/100km on average. Now my setup is this: DPF off, EGR off, SCV new, injectors are new ( the lower part with the needle spray ). Results ? Car runs like new, pulls like it has 150hp and a real fuel consumption of 5 - 5.3 l/100 km with mixed driving.
