The low beams on my 2003 6i are not working. All the other lights are fine. The bulbs are good. The fuses are good. Here's the wierd part: I put a meter on the bulbs on both sides and they are both getting 12VDC when the lights are switched on.

Is there a common ground somewhere? Does anyone have an electrical schematic?

Any suggestions would be very appreciated.

Thanks,

Found it - solved.

So, simultaneously, I had all the following happen:
1. The driver side ground wire fell off
2. The passenger side bulb burned out
3. The H1 Xtravision bulb had to be powered up several times before it would illuminate. It has worked every time since.

After I figured out each one individually it was obvious!
