Guys, On my 2006 MazdaSpeed6, I have an occasional 2187 DTC from the AEM air intake that I'd like to mark out. Yes, I know, I can rectify it most likely be putting in the air straightener, but that would require modifying it to fit. Marking out the DTC just seems like a better option right now.

I am in Southeastern Massachusetts (Foxborough, to be specific). I pay in cash and six packs. Can anyone help?

P2187 is a bitch, dont just cover it up, fix the real problem otherwise your fuel trims will contantly be on the rise until you get to dangerous levels. Might be from your intake but could also be a boost/vac leak (most probable), issue with MAF or o2 sensor, or your pvs, or a few other things. There are good few threads on here addressing it. If youre gonna mod the speed grab your own accessport asap, you need it. It should probably be the first thing a speed6 owner buys. My 2c.

Cant wait to be back in a Mazda.

Should really look at the date on threads before I make my random monthly "back from the dead" posts.
