i am looking for a mazda 6 motor for a 2003.
3.0 v6 automatic... close to ohio

check out your local junkyards. the motors are dime a dozen. pretty much any yard you go to will have a few handy. maybe not from the mazda6, but always from a few ford taurus's.

Are you looking for a rebuilt motor? Used? What are your plans?

The Ford Taurus engine (S) is compatible. However, only the bottom block. The heads will have to be from a Mazda6s.

if your heads are good. def just grab a taurus block. MPV's are another option also.

i need to look for a ford taurus block 3.0 type s dohc????
just making sure i get correct right one.. i am a girl and kind of stupid when it comes to motors. trying to help my daughter out
