Hey everyone, i'm planning on adding some interior LED sticks that i recently bought and i intended for them to be connected to this switch i bought that has a little LED on it. The only problem i have is that there is 3 metal things to connect to unlike the 2 metal pieces that i'm used to (sorry for lack of better words). Here is a little picture i drew on paint, if someone could tell me what each thing is and what the middle piece of metal is on the switch i would be very thankful, thanks in advance
That is very much what I thought too. But you have to be sure to check the continuity of the pins with a mutlimeter, so not to connect the live +12V to the earth where you may cause some havoc if you do so.
k thanks for the help guys, so do you think it would be possible to have two wires leading to the switch and have the 12V split into two and connected to the two metal pieces leaving me with the ground which is connected to the last metal piece? Thanks in advance
