Do many cars run the track? I am thinking of taking my Speed6 to run. I mean if Dragsters with no shocks whatsoever can pull it off I should be okay. Especially now that time slips seem to be available.
Yepz...sure do! Try it out tomorrow for free if you're a little wary...I've driven my Mazda5 on it no problems and it washed off fine. It's actually kinda challenging with the way the tires grip the sand. It's good fun, and it doesn't do any damage to your car from what I can tell. My paint was fine afterwards. We've had Camaros and Hondas run for example...no probs other than traction can be difficult with normal street tires. Mike Ward always wins in his Subaru STi and Davin runs in his WRX.

Check it out...here's a quick vid of me running on a dry track...when it's wet, you don't get any dust at all.

Informational Briefing with Hawaiian Affairs Committee - Jan 17th - 10:30AM to 1PM, Rm 224 - State Capitol

Aloha,

If you have been following the story thus far by watching our videos, you will know that we had given the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL) until December 31st to contact us with a plan to address and resolve our issues concerning Kalaeloa Raceway Park.

As a result of this, we reached out to our Senators and have requested an informational briefing on the actions of DHHL with the Hawaiian Affairs Committee to be held on Friday, January 17th, 2013 from 10:30 to 1PM in Room 224 at the State Capitol. This is the next step in resolving our current situation.

This is your opportunity to support If you wish to attend to bear witness to this discussion. We welcome your attendance. No public testimony will be presented during the briefing, however you may submit positive written testimony in support of Kalaeloa Raceway Park to Senator Maile Shimabukuro at [email protected].

Here is a sample template letter for your use: Sample Letter Template

We present this briefing as evidence that we are trying and have been trying since late 2006 to establish Kalaeloa Raceway Park as a fully functioning motorsports park. For those of you waiting for asphalt, these issues to be discussed are the reason we are not there yet. If you want to understand the full scope of what we have been dealing with, we invite you to attend.

In addition, we'll have a major announcement.

We appreciate your continued support and look forward to another great year of racing in 2014.

If you have any questions, please feel free.

Mahalo,

Hi everyone, thank you for your patience! Follow the link to view the Hawaiian Affairs Committee Informational Briefing held on Jan 17th, 2014 regarding Kalaeloa Raceway Park. The video is extremely positive for KRP. Be warned, it's over an hour and twenty-three minutes, so I've included links to all the good parts!

KRP Video - HWN Affairs Committee - Jan 17th, 2014 - Watch now!

Thanks to this hearing, KRP was recognized as being unfairly treated in regards to detrimental reliance, personality driven exemptions, and more. The information contained within the video is extremely informative and hopefully provides all of you with an overview of our situation with the DHHL.

In addition, we give thanks to those who provided positive and negative testimony for the park and include their testimony for your viewing.

Big mahalos to everyone for your support!

Please pass this on!
