the lock and unlcok buttons worked fine in the key, but all of a sudden they don't. battery is in good condition. what could have happened? thanks

Make sure you trunk or another door isn't ajar.

check the battery in the key

if it's not that, possibly the ground for the keyless entry came loose.

How do you check and see if the ground to the keyless entry is loose. Like where is it located...?

What type of remote do you have? Separate, combined with folding key or smart card?
