Hi not sure if this is the right place for a diagnosis post but seems about right!

I've recently got a Mazda six 1st gen 2.0 litre petrol with 120000.
After running smoothly for three weeks it suddenly developed a violent jolt in the mid rev range especially up hill or under load. The whole car feels like it is misfiring but with huge body movement.

Changed all the spark plugs and checked all the ignition coils. Have cleaned the MAF sensor (had just replaced the headlights so had moved the air filter housing etc) no changes so far.

Have a severley corroded rear engine mount replacement on the way to alleviate the huge jolting and a new MAF sensor but beyond that a bit stuck, anyone managed to solve something similair?

How frustrating. This sounds like a classic mis-fire issue. When you say that you checked the coils I am curious what that means.
Have you checked for any engine error codes?

After replacing the coils and MAF it actually turned out to be the precat lambda sensor which I have now replaced to find it has completely fixed the problem.
And checking the coils had just been unplugging one coil at a time to see if there was a change in engine running.
