While the ports will likely match, I think you are forgetting a much more important problem. The Jag manifold is a variable resonance type compared to the fixed, single stage manifold of your Mazda6. There are two electronically controlled doors in the Jag manifold that open and close through 4 stages based on RPM and load to enhance power throughout the rev range. How are you going to come up with a way to wire those door switches and control them through the ECU? The two engines are from a similar mechanical background but the electronic controls and wiring are quite different. I have a 2005 6S and was a trainer for Jag during the launch of the X-Type so I do have some background in both engines.
