It's kind of hard to read so I'll spell it out.

I had to wait 1hour 45 min to get in my 1 run :swearin: There were sooo many damn people there I just did one run and went home. I'm getting better at launching but improvement can be made. Shifts were at about: 6.1k, 5.9k, 5.8k, 5.6ish (I was in 5th at the finish). My buddy took a video of my run from the bleachers. If you listen close you can hear the BOV and get an idea of how short my shifts are. <----I'm proud of that! I'm not going to hit the track again until I get another mod. And, like always, I was the ONLY Mazda there.

That's P5freak. He's got some $$ in there. Plus, he hits the track like twice a week I think. I could learn alot from his driving.

if you would have pulled a 1.7 60ft like you should be with more practice, you would have had a 13.5-13.6 run. Nice job. Gotta use the awd to get good times.

Welcome to the 13's!

Definetly try to improve your lauch. 1.7xx 60' times are possible with a 4500rpm launch. Just practice!

Since you have the CAI and Exhaust, hold the shifts longer. djpetey and I proved this with a gtech and 18 runs. We were able to run .1-.2 quicker holding the shifts longer, if you were stock, then I would say your shift points are good.

hold them out how much longer? 2-300? I'm hoping I'll get a better idea when my boost gauge gets put on.

We held 3rd to 6000, and 4th to 5800... You should be around 6200 if you stay in fourth, so if you shift fast enough, go to 5th at 5800, otherwise just hold it.
