Not sure on the chip as I don't follow the speed6 much (my guess is no). I do, however, know there is a Search button available to find info like this though!

So do you only come to the speed 6 forum to make useless posts about using search?
That's completely unhelpful and pointless. His post was asking if there are any current aftermarket chips available. Even if he searched, and found there wasn't one 3 months ago, maybe someone now knows of one in the works. So please go moderate the Lounge while we wait to see if anyone has an answer for this.
Thank you!

There hasn't been any updates 3 months ago? If he (or you, for that matter) would've done a search he would've found fairly recent discussions with regard to tuning solutions from COBB, CP-E, and TurboXS. :sarc:

Are you trying to get on his good side? Or do you just want to draw a lot of unwanted attention upon yourself?

My 3 months figure was just tossed out there. You are correct in your assumption that I did not do a search.

:tear:

I guess I was just in a bad mood when I saw that, but the point is the guy doesn't own a speed 6, and admitted he doesn't follow the speed 6 news, and yet came in this forum just to look for posts to complain uselessly about. I can't tell you why, but that just rubs me the wrong way.

Sorry if I offended anyone. For the original poster (and to finally add some constructiveness to this thread), please follow this thread for info on tuning options.
Andretti, Schumacher, Foyt.....please guys, why not chill out a bit?

I'm guessing I'm Schumacher? Because that would really kick ass. :hoho:

how can you be schumacher if I AM schumacher?? oh well, guess you'll have to settle for montoya..

Alright this goes to EVERYONE, seing the famous "do some reasearch" statement lurks in all the forums.

i did do some research, but you got to understand it is easier to just post something and get a more specific/direct response than to read TONS of threads and figure out which one YOU "THINK" best fits you interests...i got a lot of other things to do than to look at hundreds of posts, so i figure if some of you ALREADY know the answer then it should be easy to tell me, no need to make it long by explaining...leave that to me to do another more narrowed research about the content you just provided me. I'll be more than glad to answer other people's posts as well.

Wow you've got balls...

I don't search the forums for posts to tell people to search. I hit "View New Posts" and browse the new posts and respond as needed. I don't follow the speed6 religiously, but I usually see the big stuff, and I'd most likely know of a tuner.

Karma, I'm a member of quite a few forums these days, and just recently joined the 323 forums. I've had so many questions that I've just wanted to post and ask because it easier. But knowing how forums work, I chose to search and then ask questions based upon the info I find. I'm completely rebuilding the engine of that car, imagine how many questions I have. But there is plenty of info for me to search and browse thorugh and learn. I've probably answered more questions on that forum in my 150 posts than I have asked. I'm not trying to be a dick, just saying try to do a little of your own legwork.

Don't forget that the "search" on this site sucks ass. If you type in one word it's fair - 2 words; forget it.

Hence the numerous repeat asking whatever posts. Remember that dabears guy...

If you have nothing to contribute - don't.

I beg to differ on the search feature "sucking ass." I just did a search on Koni settings, and I found my info. I did a search on "chip" on the MS6 subforums and the first page has a thread on COBB, CP-E, and TurboXS. Same thing shows up for searching "tuning."

When I first joined I spent weeks searching and reading up on various topics before making my first post. I would say that a lot of the veterans from back then did their homework before making a post, and it sometimes irks me when the new guys just post up a thread like "zOMFG Mazda6 is teh sex. What's the best intake? Do we ahve a chip?" We did our homework and read up, why can't the new guys do as well?

The issue is not that we have nothing to contribute. The issue at hand is we have already contributed to the discussion at hand. It's not entirely fair to the contributing members to regurgitate every bit of info for every new post now is it? ;)

Thanks for the compliment, but actually it takes no balls to harp on someone from behind a computer screen.

It seems we just have different theories on how forums should be used, but perhaps my way of expressing my opinion was a bit harsh and out of line. My bad. Like I said, it's easy to snap at someone from behind the safety of a computer screen. I'm sure I would use more restraint if you were in the same room. :D
damn people chill, its just the stupid internet.....now, back on topic :D

hey, is it true that resting the laptop on your balls can make you sterile (cause of hte heat it causes)?...somebody just told me that.....ima go do some research.

Makre sure to use the search function first!
You're gonna get these type responses on any forum for anything from those who think they're "old dogs" and know it all. Try going to the site supporters websites and call some of them if you don't find it there.
