im trying to wire some LED lights under the dash through an on off on switch so that i can turn the lights on, have them off, or have them turn on when the bass hits to create a flashing effect. i have tried several different wiring arrangements but cannot find that one that works. does anyone have any suggestions? or is it even possible to do it with a single on-off-on switch...

run i wire to a 12 volt source, another to the positive lead coming from the leds, and ground it and it should work for a on off switch
