Good info, here, re the captioned range of Mazda6s' transaxle. Only applicable to non-Turbo models... I think the fellow knows what he's talking about (see the latter posts, which include pictures).

This, following, is a response, further-down in the thread; interesting what the Poster says about: i) an upgraded torque converter for high perf use; ii) experience with the Skyactiv-AT longevity and reliability; and iii) cost of repair:

What's clear, here, is Mazda upgraded quite a few internals to cope with the added stresses imposed by the Turbo. The individual that filmed the YouTube videos is not a shill for Mazda, from what I can see. His comments suggest that Mazda really has built a robust A/T, with premium cpts, even the lighter-duty one in naturally aspirated service.
