I'm in MICHIGAN. This is a GM state. There is one tech. at this dealership and the next closest dealership is an hour away. 90 percent of this state's population will not buy a car with a foreign name.Just take it in if you think that the car is not working the way it's supposed to. That's what the warranty is for. Sometimes they need some feedback so that they can improve their product. If the tech is being an ass to you, report it to the manager. If the manager is being as ass too, report it to Mazda and go to a different shop. Don't frustrate yourself, let them fix a problem that shouldn't be there in the first place.[/b]

Try this....go and press the passenger request switch, then move the the back of the car and press the trunk request switch and see if it will work. I want to see if you have the same problem as I do.My trunk request button does not work since day 1! I have to take it in to have them look at it.[/b]
That will lock all the doors. The passenger and trunk request buttons do the same thing - as far as I can tell. These things work off RFID so you need to be close to the car (within 2') and make sure you don't have keys or a cell phone close to the key fob - just my $.02Try this....go and press the passenger request switch, then move the the back of the car and press the trunk request switch and see if it will work.
