Hi folks. New thread as although this is related to my DPF issue post, this is specific the inlet manifold.

Does anyone know how to get the plastic hose coupling off the bottom? I’ve seen that your are simply supposed to to pull down the sleeve, twist clockwise and pull but I’m having no luck with this and being plastic I’m going to break it and be stuck!

Never mind folks. Seemingly a bit of gentle persuasion loosened it off with a few dents in plastic rim. Can more than live that!

Push down and twist. Best apply some grease and clean the contact points as carbon can cause it not to seat correctly
