Some pic explanations:

IMG_0712: Top left is where the vac hose is cut, with the tubing running to the control unit mounted to the front of the car.

IMG_0713: Wiring running around the engine to the firewall. Had to cut a slit in the rubber grommet to get it through there, but better than having to drill a hole in the firewall.

I like that location. I got mine for Christmas and I haven't decided what to do with it yet. I think I may put mine in the AC vent below there. Remove the vent and put a perforated aluminum backing.. Not sure yet.
How was the install?

Not especially hard, just time consuming. Had to test a ton of connections in the fuse box with a voltmeter to find the correct ones. Was a little nerve wracking cutting the vacuum hose in half ha.

Ha ha. Made me laugh because it took me a good 15 minutes to get the courage to cut the vacuum line. Do I really want to do this???? Turned out alright and I'd do it again in a heart beat.

I prefer the white face phantoms with the red "rubber" on the bulb....

I use a silver sharpie to color the outer bezel silver/gray to match the OEMs closer rather than the black bezels. I'll try to throw up some photos when I get the oil temp gauge hooked up.

Eh. I prefer a black face gauge to match the interior. But this is nice too!

I have tried to get the defi red racer from 2 online stores now, and both times they were on back order and cancelled my order 2 weeks later. Anyone know a good place to buy one where they are in stock, or something comparable? I would like whatever i get to match the stock gauges as much as possible.
