ok so i noticed the other day my car idles down really low and actually begins to stall but corrects its self. sometimes its only once and some times its 2-3 time before it goes away. i recently switched back to my oem BOV the only thing that is different is a new slightly smaller vacuum hose on BOV. i am going to check tomorrow for vacuum leaks. i was wondering if the smaller hose could cause the issue ?

This happened to me when I tried to MAF calc the idle range. Before I touched it it idled at 3g/s and after my adjustment it would fluctuate and drop to 2 then correct and go to 4 and then settle again. I to thought it was going to stall.

How much did you raise it and what is your idle g/s at now? I'm just curious.

If the hose used is much smaller than the original it can affect the BPV response speed, but that isn't likely the idle issue. After you make sure there are no obvious leaks, reset the ECU and let it settle the idle speed again. The idle speed is also related to ECT and idles lower at full temp.
