How will adding eibach prokits improve safety

970 Views 13 Replies 10 Participants Last post by  HighSpeed6
ok guys, first off this is a semi-fake thread. I have to convince my dad that if i put on eibach prokit it could help improve safety. I will obviously edit this part, but if you could just say it increases traction because yer car provides a lower stance. And say better in the rain and wind cause its not as big, ect. THANK YOU. I really need this so if u guys could help me out that woule be awesome. I dont want to have to sell my kit.

it increases traction because your car provides a lower stance
Although I don't personally care for progressive springs, as they can be somewhat unpredictable at times, giving the car a lower ride stance can help the driver in many ways...

1. It should eliminate a lot nose dive when braking, and the less weight transfer there is to the front theoretically the faster the car brakes....

2. Body roll should be lessened, allowing for more traction in cold weather and rain, but while keeping the car balanced.....

3. They will give a better road feel, making concentration on the driving much more important, therefore making you a safer driver...

4. With a lower center of gravity, the odds of flipping the car at high speeds are substantially lessened...

Whether or not this information is 100% accurate is a different story, but it will be totally believable to someone who thinks you want to install a set of Eibachs for safety reasons...

What a sell out...
bump for more safety reasons? great stuff guys i appreciate this.
Your driving lights will be closer to the road making your field of vision at night better as more light is able light up the roads. It also reduces the amount of glare oncoming traffic sees. This puts you in a safer position as oncoming traffic won't be blinded.

PS...you're dad is on to you...haha
Lowering the car is going to result in somewhat better handling, right? That would be improved safety...
hahah, awhile back i asked my dad if i could lower my car and he said no but i ended up doing it anyways and he didnt notice until a long long time after. but yeah i didnt think about telling him it improves safety hahah
ha that should be enough. This is the best thread ever.
This should also be moved to the lounge since you're attempting to get false(or stretched) information to help you get 200 bucks. I don't have a problem with ppl helping you out but some fools will think if they add springs they can remove their air bags for weight savings or something equally retarded.

I'll say that's a little overboard. The kid just wants to lower his car, and he's trying to get loose on a 'technicality' so his parents don't yell at him. Who is paying for it is not the question here. It was all in good fun. :nana:
ha, i pay for all aftermarket. THey hate me modding my car. But i do it n e ways. SO i have to pay for springs and install ect. (only front 2 i have to pay for cause i dont feeel like doing a manual compressor, unless i can find an air compressor.

He said the only wya i would be able to put these on is if it actually made the car safer. Well me, of course i said, OMG ya it does and i bs'ed my way through it. And then hes like well when u have the technical information give it to me. You guys are my technical information ;)
Eibach Pro-Kits will destroy the predictability of your car at the limit. They definately do not promote safety.

If you want to be safe, get better tires. If you want to lie to your father, then don't ask for help!
