Does anyone know how to remove the Metal pins from the female speaker harness? I would like to try and avoid cutting the wire, if I can

This is a picture of one out of a Mazda3, exact same as the 6.

sure do. It's a pain in the arse.

All the pins are held in with a catch. The harness catch differs based on the exact harness. But chances are the harness you are looking at (the real one) has a clip on the face that wraps around the side. A clip that will pry off. This will hide the catches you push in with a pick to slide the pin out.

The other I've seen in cars are catches in the front of the connector. You slide a REALLY REALLY small pick in the front of the connector where you see an access hole above each pin. Then the pins slide out.

Well, I gave up and just cut the connectors off....like everyone else...O well.
