what's the symptoms? no power? no sound?

check the fuses, inside the car & under the hood. check them all, even the onse that seem like they have nothing to do with the radio. if they're all good, remove the radio from the car.

use an OEM reverse harness, from autozone/best buy/etc to test the radio outside the vehicle. also, those avalons typically have an external amp, so the problem could be with the amp.

if the problem started after the car was jumped most likely a fuse has blown. if you have a digital multi-meter set it to read Ohms and test each fuse. otherwise, pull the radio/interior fuses and replace blown fuse.
