Curious to know this since I'm going to be going to 18" wheels soon.

Any noticable degradation in performance (accelaration/power)?

TIA

I have 18s.

No change in power, makes the steering a tiny bit heavier at parking speeds though.

It also depends on the weight of the wheels you get too. I have the MazdaSpeed wheels, and I don't find it an issue.

I have RX8 18s.

I didn't notice the difference when I put them on, but when I swapped back to the 16s, it seemed a little quicker. Of course handling increased with better and wider tires and wheels.

I'm still running the 18s and I love them, the small decrease in acceleration doesn't outweigh the increased handling or looks.
