How long should it reasonably take to get my 06 speed 6 fixed?
Here is the history:
November 2 - check engine light goes on
November 3 - dealer takes the car in and identified the car as needing a new "swirl solenoid".
November 6 - part arrives and installed. ESU flash also performed
November 15 - check engine light comes back on.
November 20 - dealer makes an adjustment to the part just installed.
November 21 - check engine light comes back on. Dealer unable to fix the car. Order a new "development" part from Mazda. Part will not be in until December 22.
November 28 - car is returned to me. I am told it is ok to drive it with the check engine light on.
So far the check engine light has been on continuously since November 15. Is it reasonable to have to wait until the end of December (six weeks!) to get the car fixed? And even then there is no guarantee the new part will fix the car?
