I'm planning on wiring up a radar detector near that area and would like to get power from it. I can tap into 12Vs in there right?

As long as there is a 12V constant up there (I guess there would be one for the sunroof), I don't see why you couldn't. I've never actually tapped in up there however, so I can't tell you if there is one for sure.

I hooked up my radar detector from that spot. There is constant 12v for the overhead lights.

I used the power lead for the sunroof, that way if I forget to turn it off (I have many times) it will go off
when I turn the car off.

The manual tells you how to take it apart (for replacing the lights).

Doh. I didn't even think of looking in the manual. But I don't have a moonroof. I hope there's a 12V up there that's on only when the car is on.
