I have 07 6i and im trying to install a Volo Vp12 performance chip but i need to get to the back of the port to attach the wires ...how do i get the port out from under the dash???

It's held in by clips. Just depress them and it'll pop out.



But just FYI, there's no "performance chip" for our cars that'll actually work, lol. Did you actually buy one of those things?!!?! LOL.

lol its not actually a performancce chip i guess i should watch my wording its a soft flash tht retunes the ecu..i looked into it and found a few different places with good reviews on it...idk maybe ur right but ill deff let you know if i see gains thanks for your help

In the Ford world, the POTS (Potentiometer) mod adds resistance to the IAT/IAC sensors, causing the system to read "colder", advancing engine timing..
