Is there a code or something easy instead of taking the car apart the infotainment system is calling ppl and pushing buttons on its own (ghosting)

Is there a code or something easy instead of taking the car apart the infotainment system is calling ppl and pushing buttons on its own (ghosting)
You need to first check the software version the system is currently at, you’ll find it in the settings tab all the way to the right and then at the bottom click “version info” if the version is isn’t at 74.00.230 you need to have the system updated. Also if you have a NAV SD card installed take it out and check the small number at the bottom of the card. There are certain lot numbers that are known to be corrupted and will cause the system to operate sporadically, I believe that’s the TSB talon might be referring to.
The new update fixes pretty much all the problems we’ve seen with the system so far but if the system has been corrupted in any way you may not be able to fix it. To check for any CMU (infotainment) DTCs, hold down the volume control knob, the music button, and the favorites button at the same time. A diagnostic screen will open and then you turn the command knob to the right until you see “read cmu DTC’s” or something like that. If there aren’t any codes you should be able to update the system and have good results.
