I just bought a 2007 mazda 6gt. its equipped with the bose 6disc changer. I used to have a sirius satallite fm transmisster in my old car.

im wondering if theres a way to make the oem "SAT" button run my sirius system? Or do i just register the car with sirius?

You can use an AUX mod(search for it) and use a line in 1/8th to 1/8th cable(board costs ~65 bucks and cable is about 5)

if you want the SAT to work and it isn't already equiped you have to get the board from the dealership at ~145 bucks last time I checked and it uses the stock display.

ok, i called the dealer and for some reason they're telling me that because my car is a 2007 they dont list older acceceries...

is there somewhere i can get this done without spending a fortune?

See if they can for an 08 the dash is the same.

I would think they can order it is the parts department........ as if your car was already equiped with it, you would need to get a replacement should your dash go bad.

You can get them from dealers like crutchfield last I heard, but never really looked into it.
