I have searched the forum for hours and I am really needing some help from someone who has done this.

I have purchased a HID kit from DDM. I am working on hooking up the low beam inside the light housing area. I have the light in and there are 2 wires to connect inside. One goes to the power (blue wire) and the other is a ground wire (black) I cannot, for the life of me, figure out where the ground should connect inside. There is no seperate ground adapter I can see.

Where does it ground inside the light???

I haven't done a light install either, but i would assume you could just ground it out on the body of the car, like an OEM bolt? I may be mistaken because of the light housing, and you might not have sufficient wire length, but it seemed to be worth a try. :p

sorry i couldn't help more!! Much luck! :D

Oh and welcome to the forums!!! :p

he's looking for a ground inside the light housing, as all the wires are contained inside, so a body ground won't help.

I personally am not sure, just figured I'd help get you going in the right direction.

Good luck.

Ok figured it out. The stock ground in the picture is the brown wire. I guess normally it is connected seperatley from the blue power, but in this case it is attached together. I will be able to splice into the brown wire or get a coupler and connect the black ground on the DDM unit to the metal housing of the light. If anone else experiences this issue, you have your solution :)
