Ok for the past few weeks my 2004 6 3.0l is having problems starting. I turn the key and nothing happens, battery is full charged but when i turn the key again it sometimes starts and sometimes it takes 3-4 times to start. Now if I have the car running and I turn it off and immediately crank the engine again it will start no problem like normal.

So im thinking its the starter. I bought a new starter today and proceeded to remove my batter, batter tray, and intake manifold when all of a sudden pinkish fluid started spewing out underneath my intake hose. I dont know what this fluid is but its everywhere and there is a small line that seems to have been ripped out when i lifted my intake manifold up and out of the way. Any ideas what this fluid is?

Also anyone else experienced starting issues like mine and maybe it wasnt the starter?

Pinkish fluid is probably your transmission fluid. Check your fluid levels.

Have you replaced the starter yet?!
